Ian Nelson and John Nixon become the latest members of the Aldora Britain Records music family. This is their Tree of Life EP.

Tree of Life is a six-song collection recorded in 2005 and 2006. Around this time, Ian and John's friendship blossomed, leading to a fantastic creative partnership. Unfortunately, shortly after this, Ian passed away on his fiftieth birthday, these songs have laid dormant until now. Here, on a brand new EP release, Ian and John's compositions are laid bare, revealing fantastic explorations into the worlds of avant-garde jazz and storytelling folk rock. All tracks are true partnership, except for 'Sad to Leave' that was completed following Ian's passing.

* Ian Nelson was the younger brother of Bill Nelson, the creative force behind Be Bop Deluxe. They were also both members of Red Noise, and Ian also had some minor chart success with his own band Fiat Lux.
