Aldora Britain Records is proud to welcome back Maine-based singer-songwriter Mike Stapleton. This is his latest full-length album Mid-Winter Blues.

Mid-Winter Blues is an archetypal snapshot of Mike Stapleton's craft. Within, listeners will find fifteen finely crafted glimpses into the world of lo-fi Americana, combining the best elements of folk, country, and blues. The DIY nature of this recording also adds to its beauty. The crunch of the guitar, the pulsating twang, and the gritty vocals are all at the fore. Overall, Mid-Winter Blues is a superb collection of dynamic Western music, emotive and soulful glances of the blues, and country rockabilly tub-thumpers. A fantastic progression from Mike Stapleton.

Mike Stapleton: "I've been writing and recording my songs at home for about twenty-five years, sharing them with anybody who will listen. I don't play out live because of severe anxiety and gut issues, but I still feel the need to share my music with people in other ways ... I try to capture the original feeling and vibe of the songs, without over-producing them. The vocals and the emotions captured during recording are what I focus on most."
