Welsh troubadour Mint Biscuit returns to Aldora Britain Records with his The Blue Box EP.

The Blue Box EP is a five-song collection that delves into Mint Biscuit's love for the blues and rootsy music, especially with a noir and mystical element. Throughout, the compositions remain easy-going yet full of intent and drive. This fantastic juxtaposition really captures the listener's imaginative, lulling them into the glorious realms of Mint Biscuit's sonic world. There are lo-fi demos, tunes that hint at a Southern rock inclination, and a smattering of alternative intent too. This variety and DIY approach is the glue of all Mint Biscuit releases, and it is captured here perfectly.
