about

Scottish songsmith, and Aldora Britain Records favourite, Andrew Ferguson returns with his superb SIASA project. This is Home From Home, a three-track taster from his new album Home At Last.

Home From Home snapshots the best of SIASA in 2023. The crux of this EP is the poetic prowess, as is ever the case with an Andrew Ferguson project. The instrumentation is subtle, referencing the opposing worlds of the Central Belt of Scotland and Old Appalachia, perfectly underpinning spellbinding SIASA prose. The vocal performance is deserving of highlighting too. With a laidback and conversational style, Ferguson breaks 'the third wall' and communicates these fantastic and intricate stories directly with his listener. Overall, another fine progression from SIASA and a tantalising taste of the Home At Last LP.

For fans of Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, and Bruce Springsteen.

Andrew Ferguson: "It feels like I've come out of a dark tunnel into the light. Weight has shifted from the shoulders for sure. It feels like I have the time and space to have a real good swing at this music thing."
