Hailing from Minnesota, The Swell Crusade become the latest members of the Aldora Britain Records family. This is their brand new EP, These Are The Promises.

These Are The Promises is a six-strong foray into the indie universe. On these selections, The Swell Crusade bring together the worlds of jangle pop and college rock, and cleverly mash it up with expansive shoegaze sounds and catchy pop sensibility. It has a glorious glow that will take listeners back to the guitar sounds of the 80s and 90s, but with a fantastically new and fresh feel too. Overall, an exceptional collection of melody-driven pop rock and roll.

Matt Bannick, The Swell Crusade: "With The Swell Crusade, we stripped things back and focused on the songs themselves ... I got rid of the distortion pedals and went for a much cleaner guitar sound with a bit of reverb."
