about

Beau James Wilding is the latest addition to the Aldora Britain Records family. This is his brand new single, 'The Dove'.

Beau says: "This song is dedicated to my father, dubbed 'The Dove' in college, because of his peaceful demeanor. The song is about transcending imperfection and blooming into the flower one truly is, not in spite of those imperfections but indeed including them. My dad appreciated violin music, one of his best friends was a violinist, so had to include it here. My dad had a significant disability (brain injury) all his life, and died due to complications with that going on five years ago now. He was an inspiration to me, always peaceful and kind, and letting the bullshit blow with the breeze."

'The Dove' is a hard-hitting track that elevates Wilding's folk punk attitude to a higher level. The vocals are gritty, earthy and brilliantly dirty, perfectly emphasizing the percussive acoustic guitar strum. The composition brings in Celtic influences, specifically from the Emerald Isle, and reimagines them in a head-on collision with a heavy rock backbone. It is direct and takes no prisoners, Beau James Wilding at his finest.

For fans of Christy Moore, The Waterboys, Tom Waits, Billy Strings, and Planxty.
