Ohio singer-songwriter Nicholas Rowe becomes the latest member of the Aldora Britain Records family with this brand new single. The release features two tracks from Nicholas' The Circle Remains Unbroken LP, the title track and 'My Fence Haves Gates'.

'The Circle Remains Unbroken' is a glorious rambling folk number with a joyous alt country backing. Nicholas' songwriting shines through here as he conveys serious topics with an optimistic outlook and an upbeat swing. Shades of Bob Dylan are definitely lingering. 'My Fences Have Gates' provides the perfect flipside, an anthemic folk rock number, again putting an emphasis on Nicholas' fantastic wordplay and his supreme musicianship.

For fans of Bob Dylan, Wilco, Bright Eyes, Jason Molina, and Ryan Adams.

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points. This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
