'Take Away My Light' comes first with a subtle noir edge at play. It is an American folk rock song at its core with space to roam and evolve. 'Ways Of Life...' has a country twang to it. A gentle, semi-acoustic approach that conveys a charm and warm relatability. Two brilliant examples of Mike Stapleton's fantastic songwriting depth, understated yet sensational.
