about

Independent Music Sampler #149

Aldora Britain Records proudly presents Sidbury II, an eclectic collection of 25 independent and underground artists from all around the globe. This collection is dedicated to our good friend Marshall Sidbury. Marshall has just released his second album on ABR, Saturday Night Pink. Thank you for your support and your incredible music! We also collaborate with another good friend, Mike Jolitz, for the artwork image. Mike provided the artwork for the original 'Sidbury' compilation too.

Alongside Marshall's whimsical NOLA folk soul, we welcome back several other familiar faces this week. There is the harmonica-laden indie folk punk of Meli Tierra, the 1980s Chicago ska punk of The Leeches, and the bluesy shuffling indie folk of Sister Fox. Turtle Zwadlo returns with his story song folk rock, John O'Sullivan reintroduces his orchestral British folk rock, and Cimrya Deal gives us his melodic progressive psych pop. There is new wave zoomer punk from Zhir Vengersky, and tender fingerpicking Kraut folk from Peace For Old Ghosts.

As always, please download, listen loud, dig deeper with your discoveries, and support Aldora Britain Records and independent music.
