Independent Music Sampler #151

Aldora Britain Records proudly presents Pulp, an eclectic collection of 25 independent and underground artists from all around the globe. This collection is dedicated to Steve Mackey, bass player of Pulp and renowned producer for the likes of Marianne Faithfull, Florence and The Machine, and Arcade Fire. Gone before his time, thank you for the music.

This week, we welcome back some good friends. There is the twanging and deeply noir psychedelia of Shadows of Black, the ghostly progressive art rock of Gaspard Oil, and the gothic noir cabaret pop of Oli Spleen. Big Stir Records also return in style with electrifying progressive art pop from Chris Church, melodic garage punk rock from Popsicko, sun-soaked powerpop bliss from Librarians with Hickeys, and tender-hearted acoustic rock from Steve Stoeckel.

Nightbird Casino are back with their post-punk electronic rock, Willie T & Doctor X bring their alternative Americana roots rock, and Kim Kondrashoff & Sandra Capadouca deliver some swinging saloon bar country. There is gulf and western folk from Arthur Davenport, heartfelt and personal Irish folk from Diaspora, brilliant Chicago ska punk from The Leeches, and gritty and dirty garage rock from The Rhino. Our final returning artists are Mythical Motors with their lo-fi melodic jangle pop, Chest Rockwell with their melodic progressive space rock, and The Evan Williams Project with their epic prog rock odysseys.

As always, please download, listen loud, dig deeper with your discoveries, and support Aldora Britain Records and independent music.
