RELEASE DAY: The second chapter of rootsy Americana project Mighty Violets is here!

Shelley Ruhlen Ponce - a.k.a. Mighty Violets - introduces the follow-up to her debut EP, Consolation Prize. 'Power' is the first taster from her upcoming studio album, Close Your Eyes.

'Power' is an Americana encapsulation of pent-up emotion and grit. The track has Ponce's trademark alt country sound that is seamlessly crossed with a contemporary indie folk sensibility. A catchy and free-flowing song, 'Power' will entice listeners into the world of Mighty Violets as we head towards the project's new chapter. The sound has a more cosmic and experimental feel, perfectly captured on 'Epilogue To Power', which is also previewed here.
