The album is firmly rooted in traditional folk sensibilities, but also traverses the rich rootsy grounds of blues and country with a charming nostalgic quality. These songs feel as if they have been with you since your childhood, but they are warmly refreshing too. Topped off with occasional orchestral tinting, melancholic relatability and swinging seafaring rhythms, this may just be Hamilton's best work yet.

I enjoyed this album. It’s almost Christmas 🎅 🎄 the first couple of tracks are my favorite. Props to TVVIN Pine for the I’ll Be Home For Christmas sample, I was just watching that movie yesterday. And しんしんBells is very special for me because it reminds me of a special time in my life when I used to babysit my little nephew and niece and their favorite movie was Polar Express, it brings back those happy memories but also makes me sad because I rarely see them anymore now that they are older.
