Independent Music Sampler #142

Aldora Britain Records proudly presents McVie, an eclectic collection of 25 independent and underground artists from all around the globe. This collection's title is in memory of the legendary songbird Christine McVie, a one-of-a-kind songwriter who will never be forgotten. Thank you for the music, Christine.

A number of familiar faces return this week. These include the warm and kind contemporary folk of John O'Sullivan, the ambient neo-psychedelic shoegaze of Pam Risourie, and the whimsical jangle indie pop of Eggs On Mars. There is also grungy alternative indie rock from The Getaway Company, and driving experimental noise rock from IO Audio Recordings. Red On Red Records brings us the melodic harmony driven powerpop of Gymnasium, and Electric Talon Records deliver the doomsday progressive rock of Tel.

Siena Christie features once again with some tender and kind-hearted country folk. This time, it's as part of The Starlight Darlins. Strange Moments, a side project of Glass Island, appear for the first time with their fresh take on art-inclined pop rock, and The Casual Sexists showcase their new project, Strange Flesh, with their deep bass-infused disco punk. J.D. Tait also returns as part of Ebonillumini, a progressive concept metal project featuring members of The Higher Craft.
