Aldora Britain Records are hugely proud to announce the release of the new single from well-travelled bluesman, Phil Gammage. The New Yorker has been wowing audiences all around the world since he found his groove with French label, New Rose Records, in the 90s. 'Lady Luck' is the latest instalment of this remarkable journey, B-sided by exclusive track, 'The Desperate Road'.

This release is the perfect snapshot of Gammage's dark brand of Americana blues. Lead track, 'Lady Luck', has a flawless swing reflecting the tumbling dice, igniting dreams and crushing hopes in equal measure. It is a rootsy shuffler with a charming and engaging catchiness. 'The Desperate Road', meanwhile, sounds as if Nick Cave has rendezvoused with Muddy Waters in the juke joint. It has a menacing quality as the arrangement grows and evolves through a sinister sonic space, centring around the deep, earthy voice of Gammage.
