The Australian-Scottish creative project of Leah Chynoweth-Tidy, Kissing The Flint, returns to Aldora Britain Records with a brand new single, the heavy riffing 'Gunslinger Love'.
'Gunslinger Love' is quite possibly the heaviest, hardest, and grittiest release from Kissing The Flint to date. Chynoweth-Tidy remains in touch with her more metallic influences throughout, touching on both the grunge and post-grunge movements. At various points, the track is crunching, soaring, and completely ethereal. It is a true rock and roll number in every sense of the phrase. Another fantastic and eclectic cut from Kissing The Flint.
For fans of The Pretenders, Alice Cooper, The Runaways, Fleetwood Mac, and Kate Bush.
Leah says, "Gunslinger Love is the third single release, following 100 Or Less and Dune Girl, from my sophomore album, due for release later this year. A riff laden, blues rock track, this is a star crossed love showdown between the sexes, resisting their attraction every step of the way. Who will rise and who will fall?"

The surprisingly comical new video from roaring metal group Red Fang is a tip of the hat to the original “Predator.” Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 12, 2016

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points.
This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
