New Mexico-based singer/songwriter Jacob Tucker, a.k.a. Grey Star Ghost, returns to Aldora Britain Records with 'Give Life A Second Look'. This is the second single Jacob has released with us from his recent studio album Earth Still Moves.

'Give Life A Second Look' is a travelling song, perhaps reflecting Jacob's recent move from Texas to Albuquerque. It is a song of exploration and new experiences, moving through life with someone or something. Never looking back, always chasing your dreams. It is a new home, but there is a hint of homesickness. This is the beauty of Jacob's writing. Here is a declaration of a new chapter, an emphatic one, but he weaves in feelings of the past too. As it would be in real life. A sad happy song.

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points. This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
