about

Independent Music Sampler #131

Aldora Britain Records proudly presents Exile On Charlton Lane, an eclectic collection of 25 independent and underground songs from all around the globe. The collection's title is inspired by our good friend, the electro kraut soul artist Charlton Lane, who is featured here. The 'Exile' is a nod of the head to three great records, by The Rolling Stones, Alabama 3 and Matchbox Twenty.

We welcome back several familiar faces this week. An offshoot of Costco Boyfriend, Cime, contributes his experimental progressive pop. We also have the gritty alt country of Jay Ottaway, the alternative cinematic pop of Sparky's Magic Piano, and the fuzzy noise pop of (EM). Reglar-Daddy return with the storytelling folk rock of Zach James, Snappy Little Numbers bring us the electronic indie pop of Steady Circuits, and Big Stir Records deliver the melodic powerpop brilliance of Nick Frater.

As always, please download, listen loud, dig deeper with your discoveries, and support Aldora Britain Records and independent music.
