Independent Music Sampler #147

Aldora Britain Records proudly presents Crosby Canyon, an eclectic collection of 25 independent and underground artists from all around the globe. This collection is dedicated to the iconic songwriter David Crosby. His contributions to both The Byrds and CSNY were truly remarkable, and very important in music history. Rest in peace, and thank you for the music, David.

We welcome back several good friends this week. We have the strutting and classic groove-fueled rock of Tokyo Tramps, the new romantic sophisti pop of Sophie Mahon & The Ready Mades, and the worldly and experimental post-punk synthwave of Necessary Animals. Grey Star Ghost bring the ambient high desert rock, A.P. Harbor deliver the old-time saloon bar alt-country, and Gumbramorra Swamp Walkers gives us direct and jumping swamp blues. There is fingerpicking Americana county folk from Brother Joshua & Joe Kurtz, sun-soaked progressive chamber pop from A House Safe For Tigers, and catchy boogie pop rock from Tenderhooks.

Tapsalteerie arrive with the instrumental folk jazz sounds, Nicola Black returns with her lively and poetic Scottish folk, and Bruno Karnel appears, in collaboration with Frederic Gerchambeau, with progressive operatic folk rock. There is the loud garage art punk of 23 & Beyond The Infinite, the quirky post-punk art rock of Body Lens, and the free-roaming storytelling blues rock of Andrea Flanagan. We have American alternative indie rock from High Falls, DIY emotive post-indie rock from A Remnant Memory, and heavy and hard sci-fi psychedelia from King Bastard.

As always, please download, listen loud, dig deeper with your discoveries, and support Aldora Britain Records and independent music.
