about

American outlaw troubadour Marshall Sidbury returns to Aldora Britain Records with 'AM Radio', a tantalising taste from his upcoming studio album, Saturday Night Pink.

'AM Radio' is a departure in many ways. Sidbury transports his musical quest to the surroundings of New Orleans, and this legendary city rushes into his output. The track touches on the legendary blues players who call the city home, the spontaneous jug bands that prowl the streets, and the country folk sensibility that this singer-songwriter champions on all his releases. The track is backed up by B-side 'Blind Boy Fuller (Was Once The King)'. This composition explores the outlaw folk sensibilities of Sidbury's North Carolinian home, and complements 'AM Radio' seamlessly. This two-track single is a tantalising tease of what Saturday Night Pink will offer.

For fans of Townes Van Zandt, Robert Johnson, Gram Parsons, Irma Thomas, and Lead Belly.
