It is a great pleasure to welcome budding singer/songwriter Esther! to the Aldora Britain Records family. Esther! is the daughter of our good friend James Walsh and has just began writing her own songs.

'A False Diagnosis' is a noir, piano-led arrangement, tapping into the alternative pop scene and influences such as Lana Del Rey. It is brooding and atmospheric in its approach, the sparse arrangement allowing listeners to focus in on Esther's lyrics and vocal ability. It suggests a talent that is well beyond her years.

For fans of Lana Del Rey, The Smiths, Fleetwood Mac, Billie Eilish, and David Bowie.

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points. This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
