It is with great pleasure that Aldora Britain Records welcomes back S.H.I.N.E for his second solo single. It is another brilliant example of the one-man, DIY approach with endless possibilities. 'Why Can't You Love Me' is the perfect follow up to 'Running In Circles' and shows a slightly different side to Peter Azzopardi's creative flair. It is backed-up by exclusive B-side, 'Ships'.

'Why Can't You Love Me' touches on a space between Britpop revival and neo-psychedelia, S.H.I.N.E's signature sounds, and an expansive take on orchestral rock. The song roams freely and creates a gargantuan soundscape with outpourings of raw emotion. It is a song of longing with an obvious melancholic edge. 'Ships' explores the colourful psychedelic tones further and introduces a subtle lo-fi electro rock influence. The track once again taps into the emotive side of Azzopardi's songwriting.

For fans of Richard Ashcroft, Ocean Colour Scene and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.
