Phil Gammage returns to Aldora Britain Records with 'Walk In The Sun', his second solo release with us. The song is taken from his upcoming studio album which will be released later this year.

With its John Lee Hooker shuffle groove, the song reminds many of the era of the late 60s blues rock bands. Think of those Californian bands, Canned Heat and The Doors. There is a noir and alternative feel to Gammage's blues too, that deep-set vocal once again reminding listeners of the brilliant Nick Cave or Tom Waits. Thematically, 'Walk In The Sun' describes someone waking up and facing their day head on with gratitude and a positive spirit. A song for modern times for sure.

For fans of John Lee Hooker, The Doors and Nick Cave.
