Upright Sinners are a Manchester and Bristol based band and have become the latest addition to the Aldora Britain Records family. This self-titled EP features four original tracks and a reimagining of an Allen Page track. It will be the last release on AB Records until after Christmas.

A fuzzy, groove-laden adventure into the gritty worlds of protopunk and garage rock, the Upright Sinners present to us an unrelenting and adrenaline-fuelled debut release. It has a magnificently glamorous edge, think of David Johansen and Sylvain Sylvain strutting through New York City at the height of their 70s pomp. It has that irresistible attitude and front, a cocktail of pure rock and roll energy. The fuzzy, swinging backing track is fronted by a seductive, enticing vocal. A voice that oozes with spirited youthfulness and rebellion. It is almost like Bobby Gillespie has travelled back in time to front a long-forgotten protopunk band of the late 60s. This is real rock and roll, from Chuck and Bo, to The Heartbreakers and The Cramps. Get ready to testify.
