Tenderhooks are back with Aldora Britain Records this Friday. 'Travelling Underground' is the second single from the Brighton indie band's upcoming studio album. It follows their recent Valentine's Day offering, 'Stella Heartbeat'.

'Travelling Underground' continues to show off Tenderhooks' diverse palette as they head towards their latest full-length offering. 'Stella Heartbeat' showed off the indie pop side of the band, 'Travelling Underground' takes a different approach. The band's pop sensibility shines through, but there are hints at a jazz influence and a funk inclination in the rhythm too. It is complete with the band's natural melodic and catchy drive. Lyrically, Markus Leinweber explores the topics of deforestation and slash and burn. An eco anthem perhaps?

For fans of indie pop, funk rock and jazz rock.
