about

Aldora Britain Records are proud to welcome back Lancashire-based duo, The Room Upstairs. The group previously featured as part of our Tracks of Troubadours series and now they are ready to unveil a brand new taster from their upcoming album. The single, 'Tomorrow Land', is B-sided by 'James Dean', a track that had previously only been made available through Soundcloud.

'Tomorrow Land' is a glorious return from The Room Upstairs. The analogue pop duo revitalise the most powerful aspects of their sound whilst bringing a contrasting tender and introspective edge. Their DIY attitude shines through to produce an undisputable indie pop gem with colourful flourishes of mellow psychedelia. 'James Dean' provides the perfect flipside, transporting listeners back in time to the golden age of the B-side. It is yet another superbly crafted example of Ewan Shepherd and Joe Conway's natural and intrinsic pop sensibility.
