#NewMusicMonday! Aldora Britain Records welcome back our good friend Phil Matthews a.k.a. The Village as we get a marvellous snapshot of his latest album, Ghosts In The Static. This release features 'The Wizard', taken from the record, and an exclusive outtake, 'Poison Dwarf'.

'The Wizard' is signature Matthews, a bouncing folk blues cut with a heavy dose of colourful neo-psychedelia. It travels at a laidback pace and perfectly centres on Matthews' relatable vocal delivery, a mysterious and magical tale. It is an exceptional DIY recording and a true highlight of the Ghosts In The Static album. 'Poison Dwarf' does not disappoint either. This track is a hidden gem, highlighting Matthews' poetic lyrical ability and a fantastic Dylan-esque harmonica line.
