Back again with the brilliant Symphonies For A Modern Society, an eclectic collection of underground artists from all around the world. The title of this week's compilation is a reference to the Wild Horse track, 'Sympathy For The Modern Society'. The band contribute the opening track, 'Don't Want You To Go', an emotive, anthemic glimpse of post-punk revival. A superbly fitting way to open proceedings.
We are very excited to welcome Jay Boss Rubin to our blossoming community. Jay contributes tracks from two of his projects, Big Duck and Los Chinches, the latter is a collaboration with the brilliant Harry Kimball. These two contributions are swinging Americana rock and roll. Highcoast also return with their German take on surf punk.
Elsewhere, Rayventuras deliver us some driving indie pop, Franc Cinelli gives us worldly folk adventures, and Don't Kill The Octopus explode out with high-volume garage rock and roll. There is then the cold wave of David Futur, the jazz-driven Americana of Lisa Michelle Anderson, and the rootsy rock and roll of Ted Hajnasiewicz.
We also have The Marble Tea's DIY indie rock, The Zonules Of Zinn's quirky alternative pop, and No Wake's orchestral rock. There is jangle rock from The Trouble Is, alternative shoegaze from Sonic Spills, and alternative R&B from Bridget Allan. One Friend give us some 21st century indie rock, Dogo Suicide deliver post-rock greatness, and Rowan Scourfield has the youthful rock and roll spirit. Mike Kowalski and Bad Amputee conclude proceedings with two exclusive tracks with a great DIY, independent approach.
