It is a huge honour to present the brand new double A-side single from David Newbould. Both tracks are taken from his Sin & Redemption record, released at the end of last year. The A-side is the title track and the B-side is 'L.A. Dreams'.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, David's record label 'gave back' his record to him to promote, plug and push as he saw fit. No budget and cut loose, David teamed up with Aldora Britain Records to release two favourites from Sin & Redemption as a double A-side single. The tracks provide a glorious snapshot of a quintessential record. They see David and his impressive ensemble of session men, including Brad Pemberton of The Cardinals, explore a vast soundscape of heartland rock, roots rock and alternative country.

'Sin & Redemption' and 'L.A. Dreams' provide a contrasting look at David's sound too. The former provides the straight up Americana rock and roll and the latter showcases a more tenderly written folk rock number. The songwriting is a noticeable highlight too. These are story songs in the mold of Americana greats such as Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty. Hometown hero songs, earthy songs with guts based in a gritty reality.

It is rare to find an artist such as David Newbould in the current musical climate. This single and its mother record is art that should be treasured. Thank you for the sounds, David, thank you.
