One man band, S.H.I.N.E, brings his unique take of Britpop revival to Aldora Britain Records this Monday! Malta-based Peter Azzopardi delivers his debut single, 'Running In Circles', alongside an exclusive B-side, 'Open Your Eyes'.

Peter wrote these songs 18 months ago, allowing them to rest easy until the past two months. Inspired by The Theme's recent release on Aldora Britain Records, he put together a few demos and we agreed on a set release date. Peter then put himself under pressure to self-record these songs to a professional standard. He learnt how to use homemade recording equipment, to record and mix a track, and perfect his multi-instrumentalist flair. This single is the result of, as Peter puts it, hours and hours of banging his head against a wall and trial and error. The tracks find themselves exploring the realms of 90s anthemia. Side A is an adventure into Britpop-based psychedelia and Side B verges towards an earlier Madchester/baggy sound.
