This week, we welcome back Tenderhooks with an old-time rock and roll knees-up. We also hear the crunching melodic powerpop perfection from Chris Church and our friends at Big Stir Records, the driving and punchy alt rock of Death Will Bring Change, and the harmonica-led Australian folk rock of Steve Ashley. John O'Sullivan comes back with his classic-sounding Americana folk rock, and Farewell, Manchester bring us pulsating Buffalo synth rock. We then have the in-your-face political synthpunk of Alex N Bandits.
There is creatively-minded art rock from Mark Remmington, sinister and menacing post-punk from The Victim's Ball, and cowbell-laden stadium heavy metal from Mallerstang. BRNDA bring us quirky and weird art punk, Laura Love delivers socially-conscious American folk, and Pete Sen contributes a travelling and expansive alternative soundscape. We have the English traditional electric folk of Talmorney, the lo-fi alt country beauty of The Crushing Days, and the driving singer / songwriter excellence of Steve Nash.
Blake gives us heavenly and celestial jangle pop, Stephen McNeill brings us tender modern country folk, and indietronica outfit Globo Cons go alternative. There is a glamorous synthwave punk odyssey from Munich Syndrome, a nu-disco strut and sparkle from Mavin, and a rootsy journeyman's blues shuffle from Armano. There is the ethereal new Americana adventure of Amanda Grace, the optimistic DIY lo-fi indie folk of the Chris Browne Browne Project, and the endlessly ambient and atmospheric musing of Cloud Over Jupiter.
