Our good friend Daniel Bewernick-Green, a.k.a. German singer/songwriter Hotel California, returns to Aldora Britain Records with his brand new release, 'Greater Love'. This single acts as the follow-up to his April release with us, the brilliant 'This World Wants Peace'.

'Greater Love' is the opening track from Hotel California's third long player, Family. As the first single, it also makes a strong statement. The track has a punchy, memorable hook, and delves deeper into the project's indie folk sensibility. There is also a simple yet beautiful message conveyed, as we have come to expect from Bewernick-Green. As he puts it,

"We are all children of someone, and with that someone we are so deeply connected. Despite all the problems that can arise in a relationship between a child and a parent, we all can probably agree on the fact, there will never be a greater love than the love in the start of life."

For fans of The Punch Brothers, The War On Drugs, The Avett Brothers, Pete Yorn, Badly Drawn Boy, and Sufjan Stevens.

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points. This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff.
