The New Aquarians are the latest artist to be picked up by Aldora Britain Records. Hailing from North Carolina, Mark Griffin and his merry band of troubadours fuse together classic American folk rock with a healthy dose of cosmic psychedelia. This release is a digital double A-side single with tracks from the band's It's Always Darkest Before The Dawn record. The songs on show are 'Fog On The River' and 'Equinox'.

'Fog On The River' takes the listener down to the Southern swamps with a down and dirty piece of psychedelic folk rock. It shuffles through a wide and expansive sonic space and allows the band to breathe new life into the repetitive nature of modern American rock and roll. 'Equinox' is a more upbeat take and explores the alt country genre with great enthusiasm and drive. The song is unrelenting and takes the listener on a ride through The New Aquarians' North Carolinian homeland.

This is a rebirth and revitalisation of the sounds of American musical heritage. It is the sound of friends having fun with a real DIY attitude. This is a band for modern America.
