about

The Barbarian Horde introduce themselves to the Aldora Britain Records Community with their brand new single 'East Of Ealing'. The track is backed up by B-side 'Thierry's Ennui'.

The Barbarian Horde:

'East Of Ealing' is the latest slice of sophisti pop from The Barbarian Horde for you discerning and, may we say, very attractive listeners out there. Have you lost some weight? The song charts the arc of a West London relationship and is lightly inspired by such London-living classics as 'Baker Street' and 'Up The Junction'. 'East Of Ealing' is joined by a darker, sulkier and gloomier B-side sibling, 'Thierry's Ennui', because we like a bit of yin-yang / dark-shade in The Horde.

For fans of Lee Hazlewood, The Kinks, The Divine Comedy, Pulp and Jake Thackray.
