Aldora Britain Records are immensely excited and proud to present the brand new single from legendary underground singer/songwriter Darron J Connett. 'Down In The Wasteland' and 'Your Subtle Ways' are Connett's first offerings since 2019 and they do not disappoint. It is an evolution from what has gone before, pushing out pre-established boundaries and borders. There is a contemporary edge - bringing in the best elements of modern synthwave and baroque pop - but there is also Connett's 'classic' edge, centring around his undeniably soulful vocal and Sorrell's fantastic orchestration. The poeticism is back too, lyrics that could have been taken from the golden era of songwriting. A perfect follow-up to his previous solo studio albums. Thank you, Darron J Connett, for keeping the music coming.

Phil Sorrell of Caretaker Studios produces and performs on both tracks.

Paul Hancock of Dr Bird features on acoustic guitar on both tracks.

Mani Perazzoli of Buzzcocks features on lead guitar on 'Down In The Wasteland'.
