about

This is the third instalment in our compilation series. 'Can You Feel It?' is another happy-go-lucky mix with something in there for everyone; from soaring indie rock, to outlaw country and western. right back round again to melodic beat music and traditional tavern-style English folk. That's not to mention some garage sunshine pop, acoustic and anthemic Britpop, blistering blues rock, wild boogie woogie, soulful R&B, reverb-drenched fuzz rock and some psychedelic raga to finish off. You're bound to walk away from this collection with a fair few new discoveries.

The concept behind this collection is one of hope and optimism, chasing and living your dream. The artwork is meant to reflect the modest beginnings that many of the great songwriters and musicians had, and not knowing what is brewing behind the house front, the terrace front, or the shack front. What talent is brewing - can you feel it?

The title is also a nod to the opening track and title track by MAZE, Gary Davis' post-Theme project. And, of course, we feature a song by The Theme but with new frontman Chris Daley for good measure.

The final mention has to go to Mark Mortimer for contributing a previous unreleased remix of an old DC Fontana track!

CAN YOU FEEL IT?

Enjoy,
Tom @ AB Records
